On 26 March 2019, H.E Sun Chanthol, Senior Minister and Minister of Public Works and Transport, led the delegation to meet Mr. Wen Gang, Senior Officer of China Communications Construction Company Limited.

CCCC is a China’s Firm Which is continuing the project implementation cooperation with several ministries and commissions, including the project of the Phnom Penh-Sihanouk Highway project.

The Senior Minister asked Wen Gang to accelerate ongoing projects as well as a feasibility study to promote traffic safety National Road Safety Committee.

He also asked Mr. Wen Gang to consider and examine the possibility of assisting as a tool for repairing road maintenance equipment for the provincial Department of Public Works and Transport to reduce the risk of poultry nests, road damages and safe haulage.

Mr. Wen Gang highlights a high commitment to Push all of its projects in time with high quality and efficiency. Moreover, he committed to pushing forward the implementation of the project for the construction of Phnom Penh-Sihanouk Ville High Speed ​​Road by September 2022 to prepare for the upcoming  ASEAN Summit, which will take place this month in November 2022.

Wen Gang also pledged to discuss other proposals of the Senior Minister to To make a positive response in order to strengthen cooperation between the Ministry of Public Works and Transport with the company to promote the development of Cambodia’s infrastructure, as well as to continue to strengthen the friendship between Cambodia and China to a new level.
